Pleasure Garden

A two-hour durational performance, Pleasure Garden takes place on an installation made of coconut fibers; an ecosexual altar with an earth-, seed-, and flower-covered mattress. One at a time I invite audience members to come play in the dirt with me and each interaction is unique and co-created. Gazing and touching each other softly, I place handfuls of earth down their shirts to touch skin (negotiating consent first, of course), offering a panacea for wounds of planet and self, encouraging acknowledgement that we, as participants in a vibrant ecosystem, are more than our bodies. An ecosexual experience where we are reminded to engage in our senses to appreciate the earth.
